Meet Our Podiatry Team!

Michael Duggan

B. Pod, Mem APODA

The first of our amazing team here at Country Podiatry in Tamworth is Michael. He loves helping people to stay pain-free to improve their quality of life and enjoys all aspects of podiatry but especially biomechanics of the feet and lower limbs.

During his training, Michael worked with an orthotics manufacturer and is highly skilled in prescribing and adjusting orthotics as necessary. Michael is adept at finding effective treatments, such as correct footwear, stretching and orthotics, to reduce pain for common biochemical injuries. These include plantar fasciitis, adult-acquired flat foot deformity or tibialis posterior dysfunction, Achilles tendonitis, stress fractures, ankle sprains, and shin and knee pain.

Nicole Wright

B. Pod, Mem APODA

As a podiatrist, Nicole is passionate about all aspects of the feet and lower limbs. She especially likes treating and being involved with the ongoing care of chronic diseases, such as diabetes and arthritis.

Nicole enjoys working with children and the different foot conditions that can arise as they grow. If you have concerns about the way your children are walking or if the child is complaining of foot pain or ingrown toenails, please don’t hesitate to make an appointment. As a mum herself, Nicole knows that when it comes to children, peace of mind is very important for concerned parents.

Ashleigh Roberts

Clinic Manager

Ash is the backbone of our Clinic. Ash has been with us since January 2021 and in that time has made many positive changes to help our podiatrists and patients. Ash is always ready to help with any enquiry and will go above and beyond to make sure your visit to our clinic is as stress-free and enjoyable as possible. Ash grew up in Tamworth and is married with two beautiful boys who we love having visit us in clinic. Please don’t hesitate to contact Ash if you have any questions or wish to make an appointment.

Christina Ferris

Senior Podiatrist Dip.Pod.(NSW) M.A.Pod.A

Christina is an experienced podiatrist who believes having comfortable and healthy feet is important for everyone. As a committed health professional, having worked in Sydney and Tamworth, Christina has assisted adults and children in gaining relief from painful feet and improving their foot function. Warm and caring in her approach, Christina is highly skilled in treating and assessing a wide range of foot and biomechanical problems. She can assist with everything from removal of corns, callus and plantar warts, to diagnosing lower limb pathology, and prescribing orthoses and footwear.

Christina is also experienced in high risk, diabetic wound care management and educating people with diabetes. She is especially passionate about helping people with diabetes to understand the effects of diabetes on their feet and is qualified to help with education, strategies and treatment. Christina is also committed to ongoing professional learning to provide the best outcomes for her patients.

Liz Laws

Administration Assistant

Liz has been with us at Country Podiatry since August 2022 and shares with us her wealth of knowledge in administration and accounting. Liz grew up in Sydney and made the tree change with her daughter to Tamworth in the 90’s. Liz has 3 beautiful grand children and enjoys spending time with her family in her spare time.
